Clutch problems?

Not sure if it is but for some reason when i floor it with the boost on in 1st and 2nd the car pulls well but when i'm in 3rd and floor it boost kicks in and it feels like the clutch slips...does this mean it's on it's way out?

Try adjusting it first. If that doesn't work it might be on the way out. I needed to have mine replaced, but the real cause turned out to be a worn crank seal spraying oil out.

Might be worth checking the clutch booster/vacuum pipes to make sure theyre not leaking... can cause clutch slip. Just a thought... Hope its nothing major!

Will try & find you a pic mate... at the back of the engine bay theres a t pipe coming off the engine, two vacuum pipes come off it... one to brake boost & one to clutch boost. You can pull off the one to the clutch & block up the pipe so inly the brakes are connected up to the vacuum. take the car for a spin somewhere safe and although the clutch will feel heavier, it wont slip, if it is the clutch boost leaking. If it still slips, just connect it back up & you can knock that off your list of things to check!
