Please can someone give me a hand working out my date of manufacture on my new import?

 

The chassis number is CZ32-502***

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The Nissan FAST cd, 2002

...lift the kicking strip on the drivers sill (3 or 4 screws) and pull the carpet near the back of the front seat - there's usually a big label in there that's got a date on it...

Might be an idea to remove your Chassis No off a public forum for security reasons!

OK according to the data it was manufactured in December 1989.

Colour is AG2 (red)

Interior is G - not sure about that

It's a 2 seater

Manual transmission

Twin turbo

Write to the DVLA, I had a similar problem and they issued me a 'K' plate instead.

Mines never had a uk plate on it (2 private plates) but it would be interesting to know the month of manufacture, but likewise it would be useless as i dont plan to sell it!!!!

GCZ32 Numbers for 1990 start at 508491 so GCZ32-502947 would be 1989 are you sure the first letter is G and not C as the former referes to 2+2 and the later 2 seater, if it is C then it is a 1990 model

It would appear to be Sept '89. No further details in the db though - you sure you got the number exactly right ? The colour is appropriate for that age though.
