Hi,

 

It's a long shot but Im looking for an End Stage Driver/Transistor Pack which I believe is located at the left hand bank/front of the engine bay, as mine has had it. As well as this I am after the multi-plugs either side of this part which are part of the wiring loom. I need about 6-8inches of the wire and plugs.

 

If anyone has any of these parts spare or if anyone is breaking a 300 I would really appreciate if you could let me know.

PTU (Power Transistor Unit). Series 1 PTU's are a weak point, go for a series 2 PTU if you can, it also comes with harness adaptor.

I might be able to help out on a used series 2 PTU if that helps.

Thanks for the responses guys, is this part going to come with the multi-plugs on the wiring loom as its essential that I get this part as Nissan don't seem to sell it! Is this the harness adaptor or something different - excuse my ignorance, just need to clarify as I have no idea about this! :confused:

That sounds good, however....are the adapter plugs that u can supply part of the PTU or part of the actual wiring loom from the car itself? The reason I need to clarify this is cos I really need the plugs from the actual wiring loom that belong to the car as mine are no good. As well as the actual PTU!

Hi Paul,

 

The series 2 PTU uses a different connector. The kit normally has the Smaller PTU with adapter plugs. What I can get you is the smaller PTU with the adapter plugs that have been cut, so you could easily connect them to your old PTU cables. I can work out what wire goes to what if you want it :)
