Sounds great though doesnt it :D

I noticed a loss of top end but a substantial gain in the acceleration :hyper:

I ended up having a set of custom straight through pipes being made...sounds pretty much the same afterwards ;)

ps....is that your middle box or back box?

mine was the middle box

back box buddy on the passanger side and i seem to have a hole forming in the drivers side :headvswal sooo thinking of custom tailpipes!

i had the idea of getting the pipes made up with the flanges welded on and getting my own universal back boxes! then i can change the style when or if i get bored of them LOL

SWEET that would be sooo cool!

Just like this prehaps

are they actually illegal over here then. because ive seen hot rods driving about with side pipes and what about them sport bikes with the exhaust pointing directly at your window screen, choking us out as we drive behind them !

I dont actually know TBH....

Prehaps someone needs to find out then we have have some extra ponies :D

trouble is bud i need a bit of back pressure! im not turbo'ed

cant see them being illegal, lots of busses trucks and vans have side exit exhausts, transits etc.

I dont think side exits are illegal, almost all kit cars have them, and a bunch of yank imports run around with them

lol...o yer...forgot that mate

look nice though dont they and mabye you could have a custom middle box to compensate ;)

pmsl. My drivers side back box has done the same thing. Custom SS jobby on the way.

are you going for big bore or subtle st/steel jobbies because i have seen twin back boxes so i can buy two giving me quad boxes for £70 each. i think with subtle modification i can get them to fit

 Amazing. It really does'nt sound like a blowing exhaust, but a quality aftermarket system.

Going for twin 4" ovals at each side. Dont be fooled by the oval though, they aint like scooby exhausts. Only slightly off circular if you know what i mean.

Not a fan of singles.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Get a properly designed system where the diam of the pipes matches the inlet size of the boxes. Cutting corners on an NA zorst system WILL cost you power. FACT.

I 2nd that. NA exhaust design is critical for optimum back pressure. Universal boxes will have negative affects on Power curves, not to mention fitment issues

And even WORSE is the fact that we will all say OOOOOOOOOOOH universal back boxes!!

CHAVTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!! :nelson:

but i have found these

- Twin Pipe

Overall length - aprx 450mm

Diameter at widest point (box) - 100mm x 2

Inlet pipe diameter - 60mm

Exhaust Tip Diameter - 70mm x 2

sounds just right for the system

plus i could have the zorst custom made from a company up the road from me ;)
