I tried to search out a thread in the "off topic" area and my searches come back negative...

Has this part of the forum been removed from the search facility?

Even if I try to do the advanced search and specify the the "off topic" it wont find it...

 :( :D

Thanks :duffer:

Thanks legrath for tryin :duffer:

But how strange as I tried searching for "doomsday" and "memory" and it wont find it.

But this is the actual thread on the forum:-

http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=62040

Could you try it and see if it works for you please :D

I get a few returns but no matches for that thread.

I have to go to member list then check my threads to find it?

Am I going dolally bud or what?

I wonder if thats because it was posted before the name was switched to "off topic" and a search link has been lost somewhere?

Still no answer tecchies????

I have searched yet again for a subject which I know was in the OFF-TOPIC section and it wasnt found....

The word Hitman from a very recent post...

Is there a glitch in the system or has someone decided that off-topic is not even worth including in the search facility?

If so the off-topic area may not get used as it should, especially if you know that what you post will never be found again :headvswal

I know some just wont give a sh1t but "search" should be "might have a look"

It's probably an indexing problem with "Off Topic". The section needs to be reindexed before the search will work properly. I think that Mike or Andy should be able to do it, but as you say, it's probably not a priority ;)
