I cant find the turbo timer on my Z !!

Jap spec TT 1992

Do they have a standard unit ?

On occassions the engine has run on with key removed for 1-2 minutes

but in the last couple of months its not happened at all ?

Ive looked everywhere in the Dash footwells area.

Under the bonnet im fooked if i can find it ??

Not standard, no. Do you have an aftermarket Alarm?..some of them have turbo timers built in.

The only place it would be is somplace close to the ignition barell as they hook into the ignition loom. trace your cables from the back of the ignition key switch - if you have one you'll find it that way.

I do have a Thatcham alarm but this was fitted a few weeks after i got the car, and the timer had been working before this was fitted and has worked since ??

:(

Does anyone know of a discreet unit (not including alarm systems with TT)? All the ones i know of are obvious boxes 4" square.
