I need to get to my rev counter - is it straight forward to remove the cowling that surrounds the dials ....just two bolts underneath?

 

Not got my Zed here so can't check!

be careful with the cowl - it has metal brackets on - these ca scratch the dash perspex cover - the bit that goes across the clocks

When i did mine i found a bit was broken on the hazzards so took me about an hour !!

I had to "fabricate" a solution needless to say my car has copper pipe in it now !!
