i have just purchased a 300 tt jap import, but now the hicas light has come on, when i go over bumps the rear end jumps as if the rear wheels are turning. any ideas as to what this could be.

when im back on the mora i expect all you experts to have solved my fishtailing backend problem, it even happens on the over run when there is no power to the wheels, im at a loss, but sure 1 of u lads know the problem

not a case of knowing graham,best bet is to take it to someone who knows,it could be the hicas arms or ball joint ends,or a rear shock which has lost its dampning qualities,most common problem is the arms themselfs

mines definately the skock, and mine is the same simptoms mate.

 

best getting it up a height and having a look underneath if thats possible
