My hicas arm is loose when I touch it......Would it just be the hicas arm or would anything else cause the arm to be loose?

What do you mean by "Loose" the HICAS arm will move up and down cause it's on ball joints at both ends, if you lift the wheel off the ground and feel a kinda click when pushing it from side to side the rod or end could be worn.. There could be lift in the rack but it was the arms mine needed about £55 each if I rem..

there is usualy a bit of play in the arm at the jointed end,but if play is excessive then replacement is needed,they come in two parts the ball jointed end! and the tie rod itself which connects to the hicas itself

You can feel the hicas move even with the wheels on the ground, I think I need a new arm.

Give Mike a shout at MJP, he's pretty reasonable.

It has play in both ends, think it maybe the ball jointed end.

Sorry ta be a bit off thread but do you have any rear bumper fixings kicking about? Cant get from Nissan till after Xmas was hoping to get my car rebuilt and back on the road well before then..
