whats the best company to go with for insurance, 3yrs NDB, 40 yrs old, 1 claim (wrote the skyline off), no convictions...

 

i understand u can get it on a classic policy, anyone have any more details please??

 

also, irect line require that a tracker be fitted, is this commonplace, or are they just been their usualunhelpful selves??

im with elephant but i went there just due to premiums only due to being only 23 with 4years ncb.

So whats made you make the switch from the skyline to a zed then??

They were really really bad for me but i assume its due to my age.

 

Then again i cant complain as i have a TT and it was only £566 :bow:

the skyline was lovely, but wrote it off and sorta been there done that now and fancied summat different, i think the 300's are rarer then the skylines now to be honest... i wont go down the big power route this time, more the ICE and install route, shiney bits and loadsa polish route.. lol..

AT least get induction/exhaust/boost controller/chip/decat mate, will definitely make the zed quicker! Also get one of our traders to check it over before you start doing ANYTHING as problems with a stock car have to be mended before anything else can be added/swapped.

Almost impossible to name the "best" place for insurance, every insurer is different, dependent on your own circumstances.

 

We used to have our own club insurers..but thay recently went downhill.

 

A lot of the big insurers can be zed friendly. Im with Admiral myself.

the skyline had 400+ and was pretty quick, but to be honest i drive like an old lady so should be ok,. lol..
