Due to the increasing amount of members in wales, i'd like to appoint an events organiser asap.

 

This role means, you would be responcable for arranging all the welsh meets, to liase with myself and other regional events organisers and helping myself and the REO's at large meets like JAE etc.

i never realised wales never had a organiser lol

i would offer my services, however after the farce of trying to organse an xmas meal is it really worth it? just add wales to the bristol area and have done...

 

however.. as i told the other members the other week, i have sorted out a discount on tyres and fitting at my close friends tyre and exhaust shop, also a deal on batteries (my jap spec battery only cost me £35.00 inc vat), he is also willing to close the shop to the public on any prior booked day as long as there is an agreed minimum of cars going in for items. i will post more details up next week on brands on offer etc, he has a 4 poster and 2 poster in the garage and all manner of extras, can supply alloys and exhuasts also.

 

i dont mind trying to srt things out but if someone else is more qualified and knows of places and services that can be arranged for the welsh members then i suggest they are selected.

;) hows about white zed (kev ) he always supports the welsh meets or pk1 he will eat anything left behind t.pot ( a legend in his own right) if he,s better sorted now ,glenn he,s always well organised and well respected with all z,ers just like all the above mentioned why not have a chat at the meet that someone needs to get sorted soon that we all promised martin (t.pot) we would have down his neck of the woods due to his being unable to get to the cardiff meet (family commitments) or should i just :x: :mac1: lol

or paragliding with an instructor, and lunch... and this can be held at pembrey beach as i have friend who are there all the time, so we can get this at discount.

 

i may be able to arrange a days skeet shooting at a friends estate not far from here also.

 

you noticed that i have sneaked lunch into these .. there has to be food or none of you will come!!

 

so any other suggestions??

get us into some local car shows mate, we can have a club stand

 

plenty of normal meet's too, adventure meets are good, but you limit who likes what and also, money becomes a bigger issue i think.

well this will be new to me but i will start looking for the new year shortly, however it would be good to offer othe things to do also.. if the others are interested, good thing about wales... theres tons to do..

 

 

also this has to be agreed by the committee i believe so its not ratified yet, but as no-one else has stepped forward then i will try my best, if i fuk it up then we will need to find a replacement. however i will do my best.

i may be able to swing a days parakarting on pembrey beach if interested, im speaking to a friend this week about it, it will include a meal also.

 

as usual car meets, but it would be nice to do other things if interested..

gents just to let you all know im gonna stick in there with this.

 

gonna have a rough time for a while and im gonna get on with the car to take my mind off current problems and losses.

 

i will speak to legrath and organise some joint meets and sort some welsh meets out as well. prehaps arrange a weekend meet so we can discuss options and put things to the vote, oh and get a drink and some food.

well i did ask the north wales members to add their names but as they would have to drive an absurd amount of miles to come to a suth wales meet i think it may be prudent to add a north wales section.

 

however most of the north wales guys goto the meets over yorkshire,manchester way i think.. please feel free to correct me if need be.
