My Z is finally getting it's facelift and engine.

Hi all,

As some of you have been aware my car went a bit tits up last summer. Well last week I managed to get the dosh together to get it fixed, so I thought I would post a couple of pics of how things are now.

Plese excuse the quality I am not David Baley 8)

Pete's promised me some working progress pics so I might have more to show later. Looks like there could be light at the end of the tunnel.

See ya

That looks good mate, how long till you get her back?

What other goodies are you going for?

Trev

Howdy,

Car is staying red and having all those nasty little shopping trolly dents taken out. The patches on the bonnet are where they have identified some stone chip dents, so they will go. Other than what you can see, theres the uprated clutch to go on, the engine has ported heads and the usual re-build. I opted for SE stage 1 turbos which are the standard unit with the 360 thrust bearing. The car should be finished in 2 or 3 weeks hopefully. I will give a full run down of the spec when I get it back. Pete's gonna stick it on the rollers so I should have a figure I can post. I am hoping for just over 400BHP (at flywheel).

Gonna be a long couple of weeks.

Nice one Dave mate. Looking good!

I had certain people laughing today at how much I paid for a top engine build at SE...usual anti SE mob but hey, I just laugh it off now! ROFL biggrin.gif

All I can say is that my engine has been running sweet since Pete's mob got hold of it...job well done IMHO! I wouldn't say that the work I had done was expensive, I'd say it was value for money to be perfectly honest.

Disclaimer: Don't bother getting the arse people that I was in the company of today! You know who you are and are all the best aswell...no favouritism in my book geeZers!!! LOL biggrin.gif
