You may or may not know that Clare and I are getting married next May.

Which of course means that I get a stag do !!! :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

Just wanted to check on here to get any suggestions for a cracking night that any of you may have been on?

 

(At the moment best man is suggesting Bratislava, so any tales of there would be especially relevant).

Latvia is good, so is Prague.......... and Dublin...

Magaluf went there on a stag week, had to come home after 4 days with alcoholic poisoning after about 80 hours of drinking

Prague is very expensive these days, you'll only bump into other staf doers and Dublin is a no smoking zone now.

Agree that Prague is great, but it is more expensive these days. I'm off to Latvia in April for a Stag weekend (Riga?) so I'm looking forward to that.. :duffer: Any tips?

Had mine recently (weekend) in Amsterdam.

 

Old school but very, very good.

 

It had everything everyone on my trip wanted.

 

It's also a very short flight and easyjet go there from my local airport.

try one of those adventure weekends, karting, climbing, paintballing, drinking and so on and so on

had mine in aug and got let down by some lads so we never went to prauge in the end but went to blackpool and all i can say is what a weekend!!!!!!!!!!! :hyper:

 

ive never been there before and the night life is ace even better when your dressed as a fireman :bow:

Yes...find a club called Club Essential....I cannot possibly do justice to it with words alone but trust me it is full of the most fantastic girls I have ever seen and they are not shy ;) Not a strip club by the way, just a normal looking nightclub, but the inside looks like an FHM photoshoot!

So thats where you've been hiding of late. Become a sausage warrior instead of Key board. Anyway congratulations mate hope all goes well for ya.

 

In my day we never did the contiental thing it was a coach to Blackpool or Manchester. The return journey would usually mean a lot more empty seats as people were either locked up or shacked up with some tart. And the Groom would usually be boll0ck naked handcuft to the seat of the none stop over night train to inverness or handcuft to a shopping trolly in the buff on the yorkshire moors in January.+ in those days the stagg night was always the night before the Wedding.

 

I remember riding my motor bike from Barnsley at 11.00 to Manchester Airport with a full set of clothes, helmet etc to pick up my mate Kev who had woken up in custerdy in Glasgow. His Wedding was 13.00 at St Mary's Church in Barnsley. I was still Elephants from the night before.

 

No I think you guys have possibly got it right but we still laugh about the sh1t we used to get up to. So Guy where ever you go, expect to find youself in a situation you'll never wish to be in again.

It may sound a little boring to stay on this Island, but I've got to say that my favourite stag venue, so far, has to be Edinburgh!! It may not be the warmest of weather at this time of year, but it's got absolutely everything you can think of - including some fantastic nightlife (mmm.... and some very nice gentlemns establishments! ;)). Riga in Latvia was tremendous for it's incredibley high percentage of fabulously fit women (although this may not interest you!). It is also a great place - pretty good waterpark there too! I can't really knock Bracelona either - especially if you can get some sunshine and warmth. Watch out for pick-pocketing ladies of the night, though (we heard the stories whilst we were there!)

Yep deffo Prague, proposed to the Mrs there, got married there, had the stag do there and going back there next week for me 40th :D great nights out and cheap beer oh and so many real fit chicks too ;)
