ok just a couple of questions i have been speaking to timmy turbo on msn and have been asked to get clarification on why he was banned the duration of the ban and why he has received no notification of said things

 

in asking theses questions i take no side with any party i am just the messenger

To be honest Vinny, if your banned for breaking AUP, you will not be refunded, that is in AUP

What Tim has done is very stupid IMHO He has been a member on here since 2000 one of the very first to be part of the club.He has never had a ban on this forum and now received three off the bounce.

However I do feel even though it does not say this in the AUP If a member is banned then they should be notified about what has happened.

I have spoken to Tim today and he was not aware he was banned to start with and that is why he tried to log on as another user name.

Now I don’t for one min condone this sort of behaviour by members and I hope this is a lesson to every one that wants to trade insults!

We have had a lot worse things said on this forum over the years and that is a FACT, we have had serious threats of violence burning peoples houses down we have even had a Committee member hit with a bottle at a meet and the guy that threw the bottle is still a member.

So there you have it IMHO I think the AUP needs changing so this does not happen again.

I wasnt aware that Timmy had'nt been contacted, and yes you are right, he should have been informed. Threats of violence is a form of harrasment though, and that is a banning offence.

if a member has physicaly assualted another and is still a member then why can we not re-instate timmy to the forum but on very very strict guidlines about his behaviour

Exactly !! he's been here as mac says for over 5 years, he KNOWS what he can and can't do, he doesn't even need to read any rules/guidelines cos he's seen for himself what happens if ?

Timmy knew full well what he was doing and what the repercussions were going to be. After his 1st ban, which is stated he never knew he had, he very quickly logged on with the new name "bannedtt" now ask yerself if he knew! :eek:

After more crap, swearing and attacks on members and the committe, that name was also banned, he then came back a third time with another new name and again carried out the excact same all over again. I was logged on the 2 nights he did this and read his posts, i think many here would think differently if they had read them, fact is the mods/committe have and that is enough. So in short he was fully aware of what he was doing and what the end result would be, but for some strange reason known only to him, he decided to carry on doing it under new names :( Oh and as for telling him, if i remember rightly, after his timmy name received a short ban, the new one came up very quickly indeed (banndtt), he knew alright!
