according to the DVLA, it was reg'd in the UK in 2003.

just been looking at it again. where does it say registered in 2003?

A-ha! apologies, unless frank was living in Japan. still doesn't make sense why someone would make this claim though. Cork isn't far from me, might make some enquiries tomorrow

Saw a repeat of 5th gear this evening, had an article about this on there. Apparently Eric Morcome's silver shadow would normally be worth £6k but because it had his name on the V5 and the VRN EM 100 it sold at auction for £1.6m....yes £1600000 !!!! There is markup, and there is markup!! As his name is no longer on the V5, a rols royce specialist has valued the car at £8000  someone must really really like Eric Morcome, because they will be kicking themselves now! :D

I remember seeing Bruno in his new Rolls Royce Silver Shadow on the M25 back in 1991. This is the same year the Z was manufactured but not imported until 2003? I seriously doubt we're talking about the same Frank Bruno here.

I might send off my V5 today and put the new keeper down as Jamie Oliver but at my address, some stupid biitch is bound to buy it then

bruno has owned a couple of Z32's.

and this is one of them. It was advertised on this forum for sale a bit ago and also on Ebay. When Frank had a few health problems a bit back the cars were sold off.

The adverts for the car were placed on here by one of our long established and highly respected Subscribed traders. This one was eventually sold on Ebay and now the current owner, who is obviously a motor trader is attempting to cash in on the cars history.

I have seen this car during the summer. It was mechanically perfect(and very cheap). It just needed the bodywork and interior tidying up a little. looking at the current photos I can see this has been done.. There is obviously as bit of "motor trade" sales hype now in the advert.

Frank bought the 300ZX for the same reason that most of us did. He liked them! And so did his aides. So they bought two. Whats wrong with that??? Im thinking about buying a second one.

So there are the facts.Nothing dodgy. Nothing sinister.

No need for anyone to investigate anything.

He wont get the asking price IMHO. But if he does I will be well mad cos I could have bought it for £2000. tidied it up and made a hoooooge profit.

Good luck to him with the sale. :D

Nice one Pete, that puts it to bed ;) .
