Just looking into their specs....25th anniversairy edition to be precise. Looking at them, there doesn't seem to be anything in it really with regards to their 0-60 and max speed.

Anyone had a 'play' with them?

*thread only exists to piss pk1 off* ;)

Not that far off then. :)

 17ltrs for an oil change jeez, thats 4oil changes on the z

there wouldnt be a massive differance, but i think the lambo would be more torqeur and would gain through the midrange slightly a tuned z would be a differant matter though

however the Evoluzione had a better speed, also the unipart countach qvx had 650 to 700 Bhp.. ave some of that!!

the lp400 was a nice car but there were major upgrades to the 500, and the 25th anniversary edition was a serious bit of kit... lots of features and custom fitting also.

£4000 v £40000

I'd have the £4000 one everytime!! :D

The above one is based on a Pontiac something or other...as that's what it's registered as. Trans Am chassis?

it was registered incorrectly, it would have needed a new registration, possibly a re-sva test, however if after taking it to an mot the mot station could of added (replica) on the mot and the dvla would have changed it accordingly.

the engine came out of a pontiac thats it.. oh and a few other parts. but it is based on the prova chassis which is an exact copy of the original space frame. lambos are still space fram but the new murcie and gallardo are also carbon fibre strengthened as well.

Pontiac and Chevrolet use the same engines...but I'm sure you know that anyway.

Is the Prova a kit or is it a self build?

prova was the first lambo licensed kit recognised to be almost 100% accurate as they made the moulds for the car from a real countach.

they were called prova as lambo wouldnt let them use the lambo name on the build, so they were called a prova countach replica. you could buy a lambo v12 to fit in, however no matter how accurate it still wasnt built by them so when registered its still a kit.

but the fooker was fast... now can you please close the thread as im getting upset again..

I raced one nearly hit it up the arse when the lights changed, he pulled over in the end to let me pass. I was running 16psi at the time but hey I done a lambo :hyper:

it was not a replica either.

IMO the Countach LP500 is the most sensational supercar ever made for sheer WOW factor.

I also love the Citroen CX Turbo and Aston Martin Lagonda so i really like my wedgie cars.

I also love the Citroen CX Turbo

Wow, I haven't heard that one mentioned for a long time! It did look nice though. I had the 2400GTi many moons ago, Lol.
