If it had one of the big modern turbo diesels the performance many not be as bad as you think. I went with one of the 4.0 litre Audi V8 turbo diesels to Le Mans last year and he didn't get left far behind, which was doubly impressive as he had four people and was loaded to the gunnels with tents, luggage, booze etc !

Isnt this the same one that was for sale a few months back sayin it had the acceleration of a diesel locomotive or something like that, i remember we took the p*ss out of it then as well, fookin 300zx dti club members ............... 1 !!

One of my mates has the Peugeot 406 Coupe diesel.

First time he took me out in it, I was well impressed !!

Alan....

Still cant imagine buying a Zed of any marque, for the reasons you want to buy a diesel ??

Alan.....

looks nice for a Z31, just wouldnt be lifting the bonnet at any meets plus youd have to be first to get to a meet and last to leave! LOL

as Z31's go that is nice.

But you dont buy a zed for economy.....it lacks two vital components - nice power delivery and the right noises.
