strange maf prob maybe

my car is finding it hard to accelorate UNDER 2500 rpm, which is strange cause if its a maf prob its usually the other way round

 

once past 2500 it springs into life and runs ok

 

also there is a hissing noise (not continouse but every couple of seconds you get a sharp hiss) its coming from the back of the engine where the battery is

 

any ideas on what that could be

    yeah i tried that, maybe i have one that could be breaking down
