tyres

Just a quick comment please !.......

Has anyone fitted 265 tyres on the back and 245s on the front, am thinking of buying something wider this afternoon, I know that standing water will be a little more of a danger but would anyone strong reccommend I stay with the proper 225 / 245 combo ?

Cheers

I've got 255/40/17 on rear and 235/45/17 on front - never had problems and holds well...

I'd stick with the standard widths if you have standard rims, otherwise the profile is likely to change which could mess up handling etc. Better to concentrate on getting some good tyres (S-02's?) rather than wider ones. (IMHO)

I dont think you can fit anything larger on the stock wheels any way.

I asked at my local tyre shop and they said that sotck size is the largest one that can fit on them
