roof fan

i read the other day that the roof a/c fan can be replaced with a pc fan and a resistor, can't find the thread to find out what resistor it was, anyone remember

    I just took the whole damn thing out and it hasnt made any difference to the operation of the climate control. I'd imagine a 40mm fan might do the job, would be much louder than even a knackered stock job though, i guess thats why you might want a resistor, no idea what resistance you would want though.
