Could it be the relay and does it happen on both high and low beam? I have changed my high beam with those bright white items from Halfords. The low beam are a different matter. Hope this helps mate?

try PIAA on 01617186721 they do up rated bulbs ask for H3C type bulb not cheap approx £60/70 still cheaper then HID conversion.

You can convert the Jap bulbs to H3's easy enough its only a case of cutting the negative wire and putting a bullet plug on and a spad connetor on the live and hey presto.

Then go to Halfrauds and buy some 80 watt Ultra H3's. They look bright blue, but they shine like HID's almost. Also while you got the bulbs out get a baby wipe on a wire coat hanger and give your lenses a good clean inside.

ok have just mutilated a pair of h7 bulbs to get them to fit the holes in the units so lets se if they give me more light oh yeah there 80watt bulbs

well that didnt work so the old bulbs are back in now and £17 worth of bulbs in the bin ffs oh yeah and neither of my headlights line up properly arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Dismantle and clean inside of headlights. Made a big difference to mine.

Clean them, its cheap and makes a lot more difference than uprated bulbs.

Hids are a life saver. Instead of power mods you should get these done and the brakes uprated FIRST. In my opinion of course. I have owned Zeds with and without Hids and I can't see how anyone could live without them to be honest
