i never thought i would ever post a message about headlamp bulbs.... ;)

 

one of my headlamp bulbs blew tonight, at exactly the same time as the fuse in my amp power lead blew, a 30A one at that !!

 

WTF is going on there then ?

 

luckily i have a spare bulb, as they are easy to get for UK spec... LOL (sorry you import guys)

whoever put the last bulb in has really stuffed me up :(

 

not only have they knackered the spring retainer clip, but they've also either fitted the wrong bulb, or glued the f*cker in !!

 

long nose pliers and perserverance required later..

 

this may be a bit gypoish 2 u guys but wen i got my z home saturday i found a dead bulb so i brought 2 bosch 12v 55w bulbs and soldered a earth wire 2 each of them and there sweet would u lot not advice this? d:]

yeah, this has been suggested and done by some import owners already, although depends on how handy you are with a soldering iron i guess.

 

UK cars dont have this trouble... ;)
