Maybe it's because we live on a council estate that we are not classed as human :( Its getting better now (had the water running for 2 hours, tap open full - as instructed by severn trent rep on the phone) but still a tinge of brown. I sure as shit aint paying for the water thats come through the tap in the last 2 hours....we have really good pressure, anyone know how much water would have come through in 2 hours? Best estimate I can come up with is filling a 1 litre bottle and timing it to the nearest second, and it equals 1200 litres :shock: Thats like as much water in weight as a car weighs!!! (just over 1200 kg....litre = 1kg of water, but this is water plus!!)

have they cleaned/flushed the water pipes in street today ? As thats quite a common after-effect of them doing-so. "Apparantly" its perfectly drinkable :eek:

Water companies are now taking the p1ss taking initiative like every other service provider. I got a letter from Welsh H2O last week asking me for 15.99 a year, for what? Well apparently they don't cover the piping from the mains e.g. the road outside the house to the house itself. Soooo if something goes wrong with their piping from the mains to the house and you ain't covered then it's your responsibility to get it sorted! Are they taking the f\/ckin' p1ss or what? I never laid that sodding pipework FFS, they did, so if the line snaps for my phone from the telegraph pole outside my house does that mean I have to get up the pole and sort it? Noooo BT do!

LOL No apparently there has been 2 water main pipes burst in the local area. Also they told me loadsa sediment sits at the bottom of the pipes, and when it's disturbed it mixes into the water which i assume is the brown suspension that is coming out my tap. It's almost completely clear now, gonna run it a little longer. And yes, i think boiling for the next 24/48 hours is in order, although if that shit is in the pipes all the time.... :hurl: minging! Timmy - welsh H20 are taking the piss! Not as much as my mate dane though, he once farted and spotted a transco van and rang the 0800 number and complained he could smell gas :rofl:

Yeah i think so too Vini, we couldnt even make bottles for Dylan !! Also after it cleared I estimated we got through 1700 litres of water, which is a hell of a lot of water, which I am NOT paying for!!
