have fitted a smithys braided petrol pipe kit to my zed, and tightened the remaining jubilee clips i could find to help reduce the dreaded petrol fumes. it did help alot, but now the cold weather is here again im starting to smell it just on start up when cold. :rant: ive gone round re-tightening the ones i could see but im sure im missing some.

 

my question is: can anyone possibly show by a picture where all the pipes are that need tightening?

My favourite for this is under the fpr heading down to the injector rail. The fpr is on the rhs between the back two intakes. You just cant see under it and thats where the pipe leaks -some go changing the fpr cos it appears broke but its just the pipe rubber hardening and leaking. Take off the trim cover over the throttle cables for a better look see.
