Is there anyone who is around tomorrow that wouldn't mind letting me borrow their MAF for a short time to see if that is the cause of my Zed breaking down?

Would be able to remove and re-fit wherever you are based - anyone that could help please pm me or e-mail me at alexcuthell@hotmail.com. Would need to be Sunday afternoon and would have it back by the evening.

Cheers all.

Alex

Alex just disconnect your air flow meter and try and start the car, it should run in limp home quite well upto 2500rpm if the afm is the problem, if it still will not run with it disconnected then it is something else not the afm at fault.

OK, thanks mate. May not need it after Jeff TT's advice but will give you a buzz if so - can get to buckley no problem in my runabout.

Cheers for the offer.

Alex.
