ehhhhh???? changing hands quicker than a hot potato. summat's wrong with it!

thing is with all these cheap zeds about its hard to get a decent price for a good one.

been trying to sell mine and no one wants it  (unless they can pay £2000!!!)

hoping the price of them may rise a bit at the start of summer?

how can supras hold their prices better than the zeds?? the world is a strange place!

The fast and the furious film springs to mind.

The prices on the Z's over there are just sick, over here you get about 17000€ (~11700£) for a decent one, and for a really nice one you get +25000€ (~17000£)...

A. 4 years extra design and build development, more reliable, more powerful and the stronger reputation of Toyota over Nissan.

Sorry mate not trying to be negative towards our cars but you have to face reallity every now and then.

Its a sad state of affairs if you ask me. Lets just hope the future brings a rise in prices otherwise they wont be worth a swap with a fookin sierra. :headvswal One advatage I spose.......You wont want to sell up if you are going to get Sweet FA for it.?.?

Cheeky bugger ive got a sierra (its for sale :D :D ) but it is a 4x4 2.9 ;) ;)

Saw that earlier today.

Ten owners since 1999.

I'd say there is a problem which makes every owner get rid.

yeah, it's blue , it's got tweed, will need a good clean, front spoiler shagged, rear spoilers falling apart (full of water probably) so the boot probably won't stay up either. Mileage is very dodgy, has 10 previous owners............that's what he's told us about.....I think it's a cheek asking that much :x:

What 2K? I think that is still a good price, failing that offer him a tenner! ;)

I know when i got rid of mine it had the dodgy box, but I went to a few dealers who didn't know about the box on 5 and 6 grand cars they were reluctant to give me a grand part ex and some wouldn't touch it at all. They are only really worth what someone will pay like any other car, trouble is most people don't wanna pay sh*t for them for some reason.

It's the way of the motoring world I'm afraid, I think people like Hairsy and Bob and a few others were right to get shot when they did a few years back. When the Z32 was still fetching half decent wonga.

The only Nissan I know that keeps its value has to be the Skylark, unfortunate I know but don't lose heart.

Supra's are the only car of our era that I know apart from the R33/R34 Skylarks that are holding their value but when you look at FTO's, GTO's, Mazda Rexxer 7's and less I forget the bargain I got buying my MR2 Tubby. Yeah it's not ideal but it's a buyers market and not a good one if you're trying to get shot!

My advice? If you've put an exhaust, intake, chip and some shiny bits on your Z then keep it because you will never get anywhere near back what you paid for it in the first place. Dare I use the Z word but "FACT!"

60,000 miles on a 'H' plate?

Yeh, I bet!!

The 106,000 sounds more like it.;)

Well mines only 52,000 on an F plate

Very true Tim. Unless you find yourself in dire straits financially, anyone with a decent and well looked after 300 keep it. You don't have to drive it.Keep it for another day when you are back on your feet........They won't be making cars like this again .

As for the sheds that are about I feel another thread coming on......

Yeah Chewie, that's what I mean, unless you really really have to get shot then I can understand that but if you need a few grand large then rob a post office here in sleepy N. Wales in some hick village while Mrs. Jones is in getting fags for her old fella! I can give you co-ordinates if needed LOL :D I know this to be effective seeing as most of the scousers and the Wirral scum bags do this frequently to keep their cacky Ford Escort (wasn't that the name of a popular (wasn't that the name of a Ford Escort?) porn mag in the 80's?) RS Turbots on the road? Ask Scoopy boy, he's from the colonies! PMSL :D Oh and he used to have an RS until one of his mates knicked it from under his nose...only joking mate.

Otherwise keep it forever and enjoy it...yeah keep chucking a third world debt at it...but enjoy it all the same!!!

 thats you off the xmas card list , even if it is true!!!!

You say that Tim but I'm driving a Honda Civic 1.4 and a Vauxhall Movano van these days - hardly a step up !

Haven't been here for months but nice to see the odd name I still recognise.

Hi to all who know me.
