now i earn 9.25 pound an hour i work 37.5 hours a week which works out at about 348 a week before tax

 

i pay about 90 pound a week tax, that includes my national insurance number

 

 

im engaged and live with my fiancee in a house that we are currently buying

 

am i entiteled to any sort of benefits

Working Tax Credit is for people who are employed or self-employed (either on their own or in a partnership), who

are paid for that work, and

expect to work for at least 4 weeks

aged 25 or over and usually work at least 30 hours a week

 

Working Tax Credit is paid to the person who is working 16 hours or more a week. Couples, if both of you are working 16 hours or more a week, must choose which one of you will receive it. You cannot receive Working Tax Credit if you are not working.

I end up paying back most of whatever ive got and the pen pushers are fookin twat ****#n bastewerds that couldnt add up to 6 if given the sum of 5+1.

The only hope i ever had of seeing any of the £500 a month I pay in tax back is if I raid a bank as I certainly have not received it at the hospital when my daughter or I needed it most or even on the roads that I drive too fookin often and pay another tax for (not mention the petrol tax aswell) or the local ammenities which are non existant or the transport system which is fookin sheeeiittt....government or local authoroty help or communication is non existant...

As you may discover I do not have a pro-active opinion about these "so-called" helping hands as it often ends up costing more and is a waste of time filling out the forms every fookin few months only for them to fook up all the figures

use if for work its a very good calc....only critisism is the amounts quoted for any award are over 12 months unlike the Inland Rev website which pro-rata's the award into the months remaining till April....still should work out to the same if you divide into a monthly figure for both

I've been getting WFTC for a few years now, it helped with my childcare (my son went to an after school club) I work full time

 

when I got a pay rise and he finished school club it went down from £94 to £28.... yowwww

 

If I get one more pay rise I won't qualify... I live on my own with kids

 

Now my daughter gets a thing called EMA which gives her some money to stay on and do her a levels, that will help both of us, it's not much but it helps

 

When I first got WFTC it was a real help,as I was struggling on one income

One thing you overlooked ! if you work own your own home and have kids drive a car, your what i call a cash cow. :D Ie the goverment wil take take take take.... & when you want something back you dont get it because you worked hard and paid taxes for times like this. butall your money is funding imigrants, Failed goverment depts (CSA) etc etc you get the picture :D
