Well peeps, been loosing interest in this place a hell of a lot recently, seems there's nowt worth reading on here anymore.

Even if there is it invariably ends up as a slagging match.

I just feel recently this place has gone downhill. Too much drivel, too many people spouting 2nd hand crap without ever having actually done anything and too much chavvy shite. Seems any thread with any worth ends up with my car's better than your car and a load of ego massaging. To be honest, this forum was what got me into the Z in the first place, and it's a shame to see it end up like this but at the end of the day it's really not important enough to me to get all that bothered about, Just hope everyone on here remembers what the cars are for - go and DRIVE them and just enjoy it!

it got you bothered enough to start this thread and leave, not getting at you personally it just gets to me when people voice their opinions and dont get straight to the point if anyone has a problem they should deal with it direct instead of beating about the bush and saying things like "you know who you are" or "certain people are pulling this place down"

 

at the end of the day some of these threads are no better than the slagging matches that you were on about

you know i got up this morning to find out i have another damn infection, my joints are onthe way out, damn lungs are playing up, medication doesnt work.

 

I can never do anything to physical, docs havent got a fkn clue, stress is through the roof, memroy is getting worse, i want to work on my car but dont have the time as i have too many commitments, contracts to keep and im getting to damn tired to care.

 

yet i get up go out and get on with it..

 

like im so much worse off than anyone else??

 

 

jesus, this place is getting to up its own arse!! how many times do you have to ask for help on the same thing??

 

the forum contains more info and help than most of us can ever imagine, we just have to look, if it cant be found we ask, but in the eman time what do we do??

 

come on and talk car,car,car,car?? there has to be other things the fact that a few others have the humor to put up a few things that relieve the tensions of the day in the manner of a humourous post im happy.

one other thing the typos arent my crap typing, also found out my motor skills in my hands are on the wway out.

Im relitivly new to this forum but am a member on a few others were i hardly post. It is because of the easy going attitude on this forum that i recently subscribed. I thought the general Discussions was for anything other than Zed hardcore discussion ? That side of it is were people can lblow smoke about stuff and goof around when they need to. You have certainly helped me with technicall knowledge countless times and would hope that you still pop in everynow and then :)

I also have seen the downturn in this forum about 2-3 months ago so I also havnt really frequented this forum as much as I have...

 

In the last 2 months ive only been on here about 6 times whereas I used to spend most of the evening on here.

I had aquired the post whore title and realised that members didnt nescesarally want to read non zed related topics so I knocked it on the head..

 

The life may have gone from the forum but will never leave the Zed :bow: Amen...lol

 

ps...Have been on the clubZ forum for nearly a year but not really posted alot there...these place seemd more appealing and welcoming to be honest.

People say what they feel and that way you know there being straight with you which is a refreshing change really as some sites are too controlled to be homely.

As peachy has said this is the home place of the zed and will always be and I will always stay but there is no harm in looking further a field for different tastes

Amen to that!!! :bow: PK is right you guys we are Z owners and not just a bunch of anoraks that talk Z,Z,Z all the time... It would make us very dull people if we did and think how boring those meets would be without those Giant Steaks, and Beans for example!! :rant:

 

Agreed that any Z talk should be left to the help and advice section but general descussion could be about anything and that's what it's there for... If you don't like the look of a thread don't view it!!!!

 

I would like to think each and everyone of us on here has got a sense of humour and that should be shared... We all love our cars and that's why we're on this forum to share Z realted stuff, personal matters and life in general so this is why i'm not going to Z club cause this place is full of usefull info and a bloody good crack!!! :D ;)

Like PK1 I visit here most days/nights because I like it, at times its funny, you can have a bit of banter, ok sometimes it might get a bit serious but I find that a bit entertaining too. :)

 

I think I've made a few friends on here and the support from other members on here when you have a problem of any kind is second to none. :bow:

 

Can I make a suggestion? why not transfer this into the subscribed members section as its getting a bit deep and meaningful. ;)

You should see the mother and baby forum my mrs lives on, its just one long bitchfest, seriously, there is always an argument on there! There is only one mod and she has her work cut out!

:shock: I love this place. Its my lifeline!!! As i move from place to place. If it wasnt for this club i wouldnt have achieved the buzz to go and personalise and maintain my Zed as i do. Also i have made some true good friends for the first time in years. I agree there is not much going on but its like anything in life, people have other things to sort i.e job commitments, moving and the dreaded Christmas and this maybe one of them. I have never managed to get into the politics of the club nor been able to become an rep but i would if i could. Things cant be to bad because look at the enthusiasum (if thats how you spell it LOL) of the Northern meets. I cant wait to come back to UK. I like the fact that its not an old man site and club. Wasn't JAE enough evidence LOL. Infact the older ones were the worse (no names mentioned!!) Im not going anywhere ;)

I think the whole thing has grown out of context. If John has got the hump and wants to go its hes choice. Because he makes a desision it dont mean its the demise of this site does it. Everyone has a choice and me personally I prefer this site to the ZClub but i am a member of both. Get real people there is only a smal number of boffins that dont like anything but car talk. Take a look at the other site. They do exactly the same over there as we do here. I paid my £20 and will use the site as I see fit. You cant stop people haveing a bit of fun. Thats whats spoiling the site. All you boffins that dont like banter always moaning about us that do. My regrets is that most of the longer serving members dont give out enough advice. I have posted quite a few threads asking for advice that seem to have more or less been ignored?

 

No one except John Dixon has mentioned leaving to join the ZClub. just opening new horizons. Have you also taken into consideration that the lack of members starter packs could have been part of the problem?
