gearbox rebuild (manual)

Grinds berween first and second and 4th rattles like hell got a rebuild place to do it for pound notes(come highly recomended) but aint got a price yet any ideas? im gonna pull the box myself.also what parts are replaced in a rebuild and can i source them myself? tnx all :)

    Did you try changing the gearbox oil?

    must admit havnt changed it recently but i did about 12 months ago and it did slightly reduce rattle on fourth but deffo think bearings r on there way :(
