I have a problem, :cry: Ive got my left bank turbo seal leaking (bullocks)

I was wondering now ive got to replace one turbo should i do both? and should i upgrade and if-so to what how and how much is this going to cost this little dogy. :bow:

as far as the problem, speak to ryan@ ztech or mark @ zen garage. both have details in the traders section. they are both top blokes and can run you through all your options.

If you’re going to the trouble of engine out and recon/replacing one turbo. You might as well do both. If one has gone the other won’t be far behind it mate. False economy to only do one.

Yep, afraid so. Its pointless to only replace one unfortunatly, especially with all the labour involved in taking the engine out to replace them.

 

Uprated tubs start at about £1200. Stock new tubs are no cheaper, but recon ones are.

When you say it is leaking, do you mean the exhaust is smoking or there is oil leaking from the turbo?

 

If the exhaust is smoking the first port of call is to change the pcv valves and check you haven't overfilled with oil?
