is it when you get to a certain speed,if so you can remove the wire to the chime box,IIRC remove the hood that goes over the steering wheel 2 screws, look to the back and there is a little black box, pull the green wire out, insulate it,no more chime :D

thanks bud so what on earth is that chime?? now that you mention it is after certain speed that it comes on

Speed warning. Common in Japanese cars, possibly legal requirement? To warn them that they are exceeding the speed limit (about 65mph)

nasty piece of kit

Thats odd, before I had my delimiter, when my Z would chime above 65mph it would always stop as I went below 65mph??

Got one on mine but it only comes on when i hit 105mph and stops as soon as it drops below that speed

Lucky bugger

Yeah, mine does it but at 110mph and stops when i drop below that speed

...we'll all be out tonight driving at 111mph trying to get it to bing... Mine bings if I put the key in the ignition when I've deactivated the alarm but not started the car. It means I can't leave the keys in the ignition - bit of a pain when you are working on the car.
