Need a car while the 300 is having the gearbox rebuilt and for when the roads get bombarded with salt so here is what I bought, Golf GTi 1994 with 78k miles and service history £900. :D

Its a VW and less than a grand, can't go wrong. Actually the mrs wants one of those for her first car, maybe not a GTi though! Looks like a tidy motor!

Sensible for a normal person maybe, but for someone that has been desperately trying to cling onto his license for the last 5 years maybe not.
