I need your help Peeps, one of my Hid bulbs has blown & I am trying to buy a replacement. The problem is there is no markings on the bulb to tell me if its H1 or H3, is there any way of telling the difference? and where can I buy them?

I do hope one of you knowledgeable peeps :bow: can help a cabbage like me. :x:

I thought the H1 had just a spade end terminal fixed on the back, and the H3 looks the same but the terminal is on a wire (typicaly used in fr fogs)

Zogg - you need H3 H.I.D. bulbs for a Zed. Difference between H1 and H3 is as Stevie says, also, the base plate is different. I sell HID bulbs but will need to know what rating you're after (4500K, 6000K, 8000K or 10000K) and what the make of the ballasts are. Not all bulbs are interchangeable with different ballasts (because manufacturers use different connectors) so you may end up having to go back to the place you bought them from.

Thanks for that Dan, mine have the wires on, so they must be H3's. Trying to find out the manufacturer and the rating, they were fitted to the car when I bought it, so I dont know who they came from.
