Hello SE peeps! I'm moving somewhere near the above places in a month due to a new job and wondered who is about the area? Dave

 

PS:- Anyone know any horse keeping people in the area? My missus will be looking for a job with a live in for us both.

Tunbrige wells and maidstone are both good places, maidstone is a great place for a night out, they reckon 10- 15000 people hit the streets there on a good night. Should be plenty of horsey work as they are both in the heart of kent, cant say about live-ins tho

Hi Dave, Maidstone is pretty busy as a Large Town, as Jock said the nightlife rocks, but because of that theres always a downside (Union Street,Guzz lol). Usual stuff i guess. I have to go there quite often with work (Fireman) and it seems fine as a place in itself, but if I had the choice of the two, it would be Tonbridge hands down. Lovely Town, very picturesque, and the surrounding countryside is awesome(good biking roads, i use'em when its warm). I'm sure there are a couple of guys here that live in maidstone, so give them a shout mate, (pretty sure Disco Stu lives up there, but havent seen him on for a while) to get the real lowdown.

I know its not really a help m8, but just chuckin in my opinion as a local-ish lad. ;)

Well I've been up here in the new job for a couple of weeks now and its going well. I'm still staying in my mates front room in Tunbridge Wells. We've looked at a flat on a riding centre (the long haired boss works with horses) and are currently considering whether to take it. Its in Southborough just outside of Tunbridge Wells. I think we'll probably take it as we need to get moved up here and get sorted. Hopefully we'll get to a meet soon. I'm down in Cornwall when the V.w. one is on. Dave
