following on from my journey yesterday to get new number plates for me Z when she comes out of the bodyshop; i ended up without enough identification so the boy wouldnt make my plates up.

 

so i goes down today in the dark and the rain, armed to the teeth with ID, walk confidently in, and guess what, same :xxx: behind the counter STILL refuses to make my plates up and guess what i had with me:

 

PASSPORT

LOG BOOK

DRIVING LICENCE

INSURANCE CERTIFICATE

CREDIT AGREEMENT

 

WTF is wrong with that :xxx:er???? So i gives him an earful, collects my documents up off the counter and storms out. goes down to Parkers and gets them done with half the paperwork and half the price. sorted. halfrauds, kiss my manky ass you bunch of tossers.

think yourself lucky mate, ive seen plates made by halfords and they were crap, air bubbles all over the place :/

they are shite for plates mate go get em at http://www.fancyplates.com !!

thats just too fvckin much :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: ime convinced them halfords have been sent by a un-known enemy to piss us off,the only use they have to me is they are handy for a piss up against the door on a earlly sunday morning while ime waiting for homebase to open. they,ve wound me up so many times in the past over diferent things i wanna join ya and say "halfords go an kiss my fungall ass aswell" :rant:

Thats way ott dude, normally you only need v5, try GT grafix on 01613556578 they specialize in different styles etc i got ones with carbon lettering look sweet cost £34 posted.

I stupidly got my plates done there and paid £3 PER PLATE for the privalige of 'Carbon-style' lettering. The plates looked like they had been pasted together by a three year old at playschool. They did get the colour right for a pot of touch-up paint though, and they even found it on their system, which at one point used to be in Italian or something, which seems like asking for trouble. I know, let's put in a system for mixing paint where our highly trained staff will have to locate paint codes listed in another language. Many of them have trouble with English, well, with speaking really, but let's give it a go anyway.

I had a new front plate done at Halfords. On walking out of the store I realised they had mixed the digits up.! :eek:

 

Never a good idea having a spotty dyslexic teenager responsible for number plates :rofl:

i went down the road. took the fela out to look at teh car, he measured up. and 2 days later they where on teh car. and not a peice of paper needed. in fact i did that at 2 pkaces and wasnt aked for ID
