These are the Stats for both Non turbo, and Twin Turbo. However these are Manual gearbox figures only, the Auto Non Turbo will be slower than those below but Im not aware of any official figures for it.

Non Turbo (Jap only)

222 bhp

198 Ib/ft

0-60 : 7.0 secs

0-100 : 18.6 secs

Top speed : 140 mph (restricted to 112mph)

Twin Turbo (Euro and Jap)

280 bhp - 300bhp

283 Ib/ft

0-60 : 5.5 secs

0-100 : 14.5 secs

1/4 Mile : 13.8 - 14.2 secs

Top speed : 170 mph + (Uk restricted to 155mph and Jap to 112mph)

Although, Car and Driver in 1992 got the following figures from a SWB TT :

0-60 mph: 5.0 sec.

0-100: 13.1 sec.

Quarter Mile Time: 13.7 sec.

If its a TT you want then there are still plenty out there. Unfortunatly some can be rough, and this is usually (but not always) reflected in the price. There are hoever a lot of nice examples out there too. If you can, try and buy from a enthusiast, like a member of this club.

There is a buyers guide here : http://www.300zx.co.uk/tech/BuyingZ.htm

Buy one!!!! deffo buy one or two if you can afford it.

tt are IMO a better experience especially whhhhhheeeeeeeeeennn both the turbos spool in. and make sure it had tagra tops and leather seats. imports tend to have little or no rust generally.

good luck and hope you buy one. :hyper:

Only had my Jap import Twin Turbo for 2 weeks but caned £75 quid of gas already just cruising around... and its been worth every damn penny! I've had 13 cars in the last 6 years and this is the best car ive ever been in let alone owned... jump in... you won't regret it! :hyper:
