Immobiliser

I'm having real problems with my immobiliser. A month ago the car wouldnt start, dead on key. I went to start her up and the electrics all went out. Turned out to be the immobiliser had died. Got her running again and its been fine for a month, but now the problem has happened again. Getting the car recovered is a real pain.

 

So, does anybody know a garage with a lot of electrics experience in the hertfordshire area? I'de like to take it to somewhere that can gut the alarm and immobiliser and fix it (it's been shoddily installed it seems)

 

All these problems are really making me think about getting rid of the car.
