Think You've Seen A Low Flying Airliner? Think Again!

These pictures were taken from Maho beach on the island of St.Maarten which is situated in the heart of the Dutch Caribbean. It would appear that one of the runways at the Princess Juliana International Airport is backed right on to Maho beach. As it is, the planes pass over the beach just before they touch down! How cool is that, i have to go there just witness this 1st hand! :D

    No wonder the beach is empty. Just imagine sitting there and your brolly, butties and even your knotted hanky gets sucked up into the engine. Even worse. "excuse me darling weren't the kids making sand castles over there and where's that pile of fresh tripe come from".

    KLM :rant: I'm surprised it didn't end up in the Sea. The last time I flew KLM we ended up having to divert to Paris due to a fuel valve being blocked! Fire engines & the lot were dispatched.

    Luckily it happened on a flight over land & not a flight over the Atlantic!!!
