Did I imagine this or was a ship actually attacked off the coast of Somalia? Rocket propelled grenades and automatic guns! I think it's about time I organised armed protection for cruise liners, there has got to be an opening somewhere!

We used to get Pirate alerts when sailing off the coast of Somalia. Quite common, rarely gets reported unless it's something like that.

A US Cruise ship was attacked by pirates just off the Somali coast. Last Friday I think it was. Many British passengers.

 

No one was injured. Just some superficial damage to the vessel.

News is about the only thing I watch on TV. Precious little else on terrestrial TV to watch, apart from a few things like Grand Designs, some of the documentaries and the odd bit of motor racing that crops up.

not as many wildlife programs on as there used to be but hey lets fill telly with cruddy soaps

It does seem only a matter of time before they employ mercenaries as guards.

Soaps, reality TV, sad game shows....way too much drivel on TV nowadays. Seems as if most is there for boredom relief rather than anything stimulating.

spooks, thursday, 9pm, bbc 1.....thats ace, really pisses me off that my tv licence is so high for like 12 episodes of that a year :( It literally is all i watch on BBC, except maybe topgear!
