I have one in my jap import, has a tv etc....

TV will never work in this country though, something

to do with hertz

If you buy one from ebay & it has a tv/screen, make

sure it's a uk model or it wont work, radio isn't a prob

as you can get a frequency expander to get uk stations.

You may also need an aerial adapter, depends on what

spec the car/radio is.

They have NTSC broadcast frequencies in Japan, while the broadcasts are PAL in Britain, so if the tuner doesn’t support PAL you can't watch TV over here with it. Thanks for the rest of the info :) I think I will order mine from the States as they seem quite a bit cheaper over there than they are in Finland, where I live. The TV broadcasts are in NTSC in the US too, so I would have to take one which supports booth PAL and NTSC (I think most new do). It would be quite fun if it could play DivX and XviD too, so you could watch you movie backups in the car without having to take the original copy with you. MP3 is a must too, as I don't like storing original CD's in the car :) Btw, does someone know what kind of TV antenna you need for the car?

I have a twin din on ebay just now.

Removed from Z.

Be wary - double din will require cutting your centre console to make it fit - the little crosspiece just below your single din unit.

Twin din (two separate units) will fit straight in with no mods.

My twin din (did i mention that it's for sale? :)) has allthe wiring to go straight into your Z.

Is it a RHD or LHD? Because over here we drive on the right side of the road, so it would have to be a LHD.

It's a RHD - the correct side for driving on the correct side of the road.

:)

You should buy it - it would be rare in Finland and so worth much much more.

Be the envy of all your friends and family

Go on - buy her

One half of me would like to buy a Z from Britain, but the other one realizes that it wouldn't be worth it. Yes, it would be quite exclusive to have a RHD over here, but it wouldn't be very smart as it would be very hard to get a good price on it back when you sell it, as no one is really familiar with RHD’s over here. And I probably would have huge problems driving it in the beginning, as you would need to shift gear with the left hand and the pedals being in a different order. :)
