Hi all,

I am doing some research for a computer game we are developing and have a few questions regarding the 300ZX. We are featuring the 1989 Fairlady Z TT 2 seater and 1998 Fairlady Z Version S TT 2 Seater. The cars will be based on JDM spec.

1/ Is there much body panel differences between the 2+2 and 2 seater?

2/ Can somebody point me in the right direction of the front light configuration? I ahve seen a few photos and seen a few different light configurations specifically the indicator lights. I have seen some with seperate indicators, some with the indicators surrounded by a black trim that blends into the grille. Which is correct?

If possible can anybody point me in the direction of photos? Or if you have one of these cars, can we photograph it?

Anybody care to help, name in the credits and booklet up for grabs. PM, MSN or e-mail me, thanks.

Alan :)

Dont do A 98 spec, do a 99 spec, different body parts colours & specs ;)

vijay Thats great, exactly what I need. Hadn't realised there was such a dimensional difference between the SWB and LWB models, not just length but width as well.

Is it right the dims for the SWB is 4310x1790x1245 with a wheelbase of 2450mm.

The LWB dims are 4525x1800x1250mm with a wheelbase of 2570mm.

Chris@Getreddy its the face lift model we are doing for the 98 spec, different front bumper. Is it supposed to be a 99 yr?

GT4 must have it wrong then, they have it listed as 1998 for the facelift. If I can't find a car closer to where we are then I will be in touch, but a 2 seater would be preferable.

Does the Twin Turbo have a 'Twin Turbo' badge on the rear hatch opposite the Fairlady Z badge?

Only if it's mine!

Officially, UK had Twin Turbo and NO Fairlady Z. Conversely, JDM had Fairlady Z on the right and nothing on the left.

I'd be surprised if you find a two seater '99 car.

You probably can find an earier car which's had '99 spec parts put on so they look identical (although the '99 car had a stiffer chassis too but you won't be able to tell that from looking so it doesn't matter).
