well, spoke to my daughter tonight - shes cool about it. another 6 months & shes old enough to drive anyway!! :wack:

shes actually not met her yet! she's coming over on sat & were all going out!! hopefully! :) means a lot to me that my daughter is happy about it.

feel a bit better now!

nice to see the positive feedback from all on here - am a bit nervous esp after my marrage was quite a stressful relationship. i am very wary now TBH. luckily my new g/f is extremely easy going (must be!!).

dont think i could ever be with someone 24hrs a day TBH!! i work about 10 hrs a day & out most weekends & evenings. she prob sees me more now than she will when i move in!

Sound advice until the day arrives. I think its mans curse for the intelligence we have, knowing that one day it will happen. But all the same, its not a bad policy to live your life to the full. Its the only one you will ever have.

Well said Andy..

Bloody hell has everyone in the UK seen me driving ??? :)

No, but some may have followed me and wondered whether it was gonna be sooner than they expected !

I stay in a rural area of Scotland with nice twist back roads. When going back into town my wife used to make comment to other drivers. "Don't try and follow Craig you'll Crash" .. See the amount a blokes that have put there cars in fields after hearing that 3 in one week once :) .. She's not allowed to say that anymore..

LOL, I know people who used to race around the roads here. They all had switches for their brake lights, so if someone was following them they didn't get prior warning for the 90 degree bends around fields (and into ditches!)

i dont agree with racing on roads of any type

1/ its dangerous

2/you never know what after the next corner

3/ on motorways theres always some fool ready to pull out infront of you

but having said that i did have to destroy a scooby 2 days ago i was on a 4 lane motorway and no other traffic

NO mate, IMO all things that squat to p1ss are nowt but a fookin' nightmare, either turn gay or become a Buddhist monk. Much more satisfaction and less hassle in the long run. Either that or get yerself a Thai bride, at least they still understand and obey the rules of being a woman.

E.g. they can fire a ping pong ball more than 10 feet from you know where, they say "You want sucky sucky?" and they bring up the kids and do the house work without even blinking, women in this country have got it to easy FFS!!! And they know it and take the p1ss out of us for it. ;)

Jay talking about country road racing here .. Normaly a nocturnal hobby perfected over the years of driving the same stretch of maybe 7 to 10 miles in any car you could afford at the time starting with usually your mothers Mini Metro 1ltr which you quickly discovered handled just as well as the 1.3s ver but was actully faster up the gears "Weapon of choice in my day was a MkII RS2000" later racers moving on to gayboy front wheel drive Astra GTE and GSi models. These cars could understeer so badly it was best to drive a vehicle insured by your parents as it was just a matter of time before it ended up In Mrs Browns garden half way up the rockery.. There are no street lights on these tracks so you have that as an advantage, on coming hazards of the vehicular kind are easily spoted. On the other hand livestock, dear and rabbits (Motorcycle hazard only) are impossible to see till it's to late so best to concentrate on your lines and assume the animals will get out of the way fast enough after all they do have a brain of there own. "Race line advice" The tracks in question are generally constructed and maintained by a sole worker accompanied by a protection squad of at least 50 easily identified buy there lack of manual labour and there inclination to just lean on the shovel provided. Camber of the track will have nothing in comon with the direction of travel and will on some corners attempt to ensure your mothers brand new Morris Ital ends up in a field on it's roof( well before the front bottom trunion breaks and the wheel falls off) Safer in the long run.. To Be Continued..:)

who gives a s*it what we think! its you life, your mrs, your heart, you mind, your house...YOUR call. if it goes all pear shaped its your life, on the other hand if it turns out to be true love and lasts the rest of your life its your luck. we wont feel your emotions physically either way, we'll be happy for you or saddened accordingly but at the end of the day WE are NOT YOU. listern to your heart only you know. if love exists then a single first glance is enough otherwise a whole lifetime isnt. ask yourself what are you willing to do for her and what do you want in return. I /we can say a million things, at the end of the day we're sat here typing things on a keyboard and wont really affect our lives, talk really is cheap. you my friend are the one who will bear the consiquences either way.. sit and think .. any doubts then talk to her.

Good luck and all my d

best wishes pal . hope whatever the decision you take, fate is kind to you. best wishes. :duffer: :p
