alpine make direct replacements for doors and back pods and also larger combi units for doors which are a doddle to fit and sound fine

sounds good did u go direct to alpine

Not the easiest of jobs, but then, what is on these cars? :)

Set aside a good few hours to get it done. Maybe all day.

I put Alpine components in the rear of my last car.Along with a six channel amp.

All floor panels in boot along with plastic panels came out(5, IIRC), along with back seat, front door slam panels and then to topit all, had to take out rear side window plastic panel to get the tweeters to mount properly.

Fronts are more straightforward.

Looking forward to an instal in my new Z

i put 6X9's in my doors and 6.5" in the rears without to much hassle.

but straight swap would be 6x4 rears 6.5" front iirc
