I know I know..i'm probably the last member of the club to play it, but it is so cool! Watching a 99 spec Zed racing around in such fantastic detail with all the previous generation zed's

 

TBH, I was missing my zed so much, and I had heard great things about gt4 ,I borrowed my nephews ps2 tonight.

 

well bloody worth it! I'm usually crap at computer games but this is different, the replays are brill, can't get over the detail :bow:

the only thing that dissapoints on tha game are the engine sounds, rest is great.

Can you get this for PC ? (I know, I've not played it or even seen it !)

no, unfortunately you cant get it for anything other than the PS2. TOCA Race Driver 3 is a good PC game tho. and yes Zee, most of the engines sound the same :( :(

I was hooked On Gt3 for ages GT4 is better in lots of ways. I played it so much my eyes used to ache and i could'nt get up for work :mac1:

Now i only play couple hours per week.

Just a question. The car i'm using at the moment is a yellow z32 with 99spec front bumper and a 99spec rear spoiler. There are also side skirts and a rear bumper which match up perfectly, are these real 99spec mods too? If so my mind is made up, it all blends in so well.

 

the side skirts really caught my attention, are these nissan parts ?

I think they are from the R-Type 300zx which was launched at the end of its life.

Yeah, that got me too. It seems they are only for sale sometimes, you have to go back and check a few times.

 

I had to switch on and off 4 times till I got one! How did you do bud, did you win another zed? I won a lovely red 240z last night, but now my nephew has come and taken the ps2 back :cry:

I currently have about 50 cars and 1,500,000 credits on gt 4 and only play it occasionally 5 zeds in me garage though with different stages of mod

I ran mine up to the same, but couldn't handle the corners even with the brakes and tyres and sunspension, so brough it back to about 450 bhp and handled much better ;)

yeah it just has to be done occasionaly have been trying to play gtr on the pc and cant handle the cars so its taking a visit to the skip along with the steering wheel and pedals (there a week old) not that im a sore looser

you dont need to do that mate, every race you take part in is classed as a 'day', and the 2nd hand shops are updated every few days...

 

i got to 85% before i started cheating with the Action Replay Max (press a button and the opponents go veering off the track, mwuhahahaha). the fun had gone out of it cos what was left was too difficult.
