Profile size for 17"

Hello everyone

Ive been ploughing through the search for info on wheel sizes. Most I could find was info on width.

I'm after the profile size I would need to fit 17" wheels. I dont want to change the overall diameter too much. Would the off set remain the same too?

    Depends on width but 255/40/17 rear and 225/45/17 front are ok i think.
