Which Laptop??

Looking to get rid of my desktop and screen and go to a laptop in the next week or 2 so would appreciate any feedback or ideas

 

Will need to be a decent spec, mainly use for surfing the web but also for some online gaming and some work as well.

 

Been looking at a few of the Sony ones as i do like them but TBH not too concerned what make, read a few results and the Acers although being a budget brand seem to get pretty good results?

 

Looking to spend around the £700 mark poss more if its worth it.

 

Also will be looking to sell my PC on so hey if anyone has a top spec laptop and wants to do a deal let me know ;)

    Every Tech on the site is telling you not to buy a laptop .. there crap and very limited upgrade wise..I bought a Viao with a 17" screen txt was so small you couldn't read it..So it went back

    yeh but having a desktop is not really an option now but i suppose i could always plug my new laptop (when i get it) into my plasma and use it as a monitor :D

    These iDEQ things are tiny mate .. TFT screen you've got all the power and upgradeablity of a desktop with out the space issues..was what we where saying
