Does anyone have or can anyone point me to where I can get a picture of un tampered with ZX engines NA and Twin Turbo. I think it would be a good thing to have available for new people who are not familiar with the cars. It might even help stop people from buying NA's when they want a Twin Turbo as they would know what they are looking at. Sorry if it sounds stupid

4 easy things to look for:

1. If it has a standard front bumper, then a TT will have vents in the bottom outer corners, an NA wont.

2. In the engine bay there are four black rubber hoses in the TT, a pair on each side of the plenum, one of each pair goes to the throttle bodies. An NA has only 2 hoses - one to each throttle body.

3. The rad cap on a TT is on the right hand end of the radiator, an NA has the cap in the centre of the radiator.

4. An NA wont have HICAS so the power steering pot has less pipes going in and out of it, also the lid is offset from the centre.

There you mate that is an N/A engine

lol dont steam clean it tho thats what the garage i got it from did. and i had starting problems in the first couple of weeks ok now tho.

Is that a "completely standard" throttle cover then? ;)

you tell me bud i don't know  assumed it was

Nash - is that a standard battery?

cos the last time I took mine off it was a bugger - terminals buried under scuttle panel.

Still got holes in knuckles after that little escapade.

:)

I think the jap and UK batteries have the terminals on oposite sides. Not positive but mine was a jap and when I replace for a UK battery the cabels needed extending as the terminals were on the wrong wide. Otherwise the batery was identical. Might be the answer.
