Jd's-z The End!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After contemplating this over and over for the last couple of months I have decided to get rid of my car.

After over 2years owning this car I have rarely enjoyed it to its full, I have found all my time spent on it and not enough driving it, to many late nights worrying about it too. I’m going to give modding cars a break for a while as I want to start enjoying my self and living life to its full.

I have worked out my car is costing me around £600 a month to run, insurance, debt, fuel, ect.

In my eyes and i'm sure some of yours, no car is worth this much hassle if i’m not enjoying it.

It’s been really good to be part of a friendly club with outgoing and helpful people; I have made a lot of friends through out my time with the club.

As in a previous thread these cars are worth bugger all to sell as a whole, it has always been my intention that when I’m done with it I will break. So as of the end of next month this will be my intention. I don’t want any pm’s requesting parts as of yet or posts in this thread. I thought I would put this post up to inform people before they go and buy the stuff new, as this always happened to me.

I will be pricing up all the parts on the car and a post will go up some time soon.

All the best ;)

Houghtons mate, was £150 a year without the mods, now its £300 with.....I get a 15% discount on top of that because I insure both cars with them and have done so for a while now....very helpful people

AHEM! Read JD's first post again........ :slap:

JD, really sorry to hear this mate. Funny you put this up as last night I was talking to Spinksy about the very same thing. The amount of hassle I have had versus the amount of time spent enjoying it just doesnt way up. Because of how expensive everything to do with the car is, it takes me a while to save the money up to buy the next phase of the project. The question is, is there EVER, EVER an end to it? I put off paying other bills to buy parts for this car :x: (STOOPID I know!) and its the reason I am in debt at all!!! And I still dont own a house, I'm 28 now!!!! :(

So, all in all mate, I can completely empathise with your decision, its a very difficult and brave one to make that I just cant find the 'Gonads' to make:bow:.....even though everyone else tells me its the right one.....

Good luck with everything and thanks for the advance warning about the parts.....all the best with whatever you decide to do...... ;)
