fibreglass spoiler

just purchased one and wondered if any one has fitted it them selves and any probs incurred . I have been quoted £120 fitting and £160 spraying >>> seemed a lot to me ,any of you had it done cheaper ?? i live in leeds area

well depends on how handy you are and what type of spoiler it is?

I would rather get it done properly if your not to sure of it yourself otherwise it will look tacky.

its just the lip style stock replacement fr the z centre . do u think the quote of £260 for fitting and spraying is ok . any particular thinks to look out for when preplacing ?? so i can tell ?

I bought a fibreglass spoiler from Luke last year. The edges of it (where the two moulds meet) weren't finished off very well so that made the prepping quite hard work and took quite a while.

 

The rest of it was well finished though.

 

Don't forget, a nice shiny coat of paint can't ever cover poor prepping, so get it done at a good bodyshop and save youself a few headaches!!!
