Hi all,

My stock dash clock seems to be slowly losing the plot. It tells the correct time for a while, but then every now and again seems to just pick a time at random, until I set it to the correct time again. Apparently it was a bit dodgy when I got the car as the dealer told me it wasn't working at all, so he fitted a replacement (which also didn't work). In the end he plugged the original back in, only to find that it had started working.

Now, as I say, it's playing up for me. So, the question is, are there any decent after-market alternatives available? One that showed AM and PM (or better yet uses 24 hour time) would be good.

Thanks,

Bart

Mine just goes off...and then comes back on again later...but then goes off again..only to come back on again later..but after a while goes off..BUT...then comes back on again later on...only to later turn itself off, but comes back again but then goes off again..only to come back on again later..but after a while goes off..BUT...then comes back on again later on...only to later turn itself off, but comes back again but then goes off again..only to come back on again later..but after a while goes off..BUT...then comes back on again later on...only to later turn itself off, but comes back again.....you can see the pattern I am sure... :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal :headvswal

Interesting idea. My turbo timer is currently located on the underside of the binnacle to the left of the steering wheel. It's fine but being a bit on the tall side I do tend to catch my knee on it quite often when getting in. Only thing is I don't think my timer would look so clever where the clock is because it's not quite the right size (I think there would be gaps above/below), but it's something to bear in mind.

The clock is one of the two features about the Z interior I'm not really such a fan of (it's a bit naff looking), with the other being the cheapo circa 1985 bargain-basement Ford Fiesta indicator stalk which feels like you're going to snap it off.

HKS. Not sure of any details beyond that. It's parked outside at the moment so I might wander out of the office a bit later for a look.

The Greddy Profec B II boost controller and the Greddy turbo timer fit straight in the stock clock position.

Yeh but he doesnt have Greddy ones, we could list all the ones that fit into the clock position LOL

I can fix the clock for you if you want.
